Went on a field trip today with my son's 2nd grade class to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.. Things are getting busy over there for this season's Nascar race in 10 days or so... Part of the trip was over to the Shelby Cobra Co. and museum. This is the original Cobra from 1960... Its Carroll Shelby's original Cobra. Sadly Mr. Shelby just passed away in 2012. Fun trip, with the kids getting to eat lunch in a suite overlooking the racetrack and watching the fighter jets land at Nellis Air Force base... I had fun too! Day 59 of 365 02-28-2012

Went for a drive through the Red Rock loop again today... working on large Panorama, that will print to 325" long and 40 inches wide... So I grabbed a few shots of the Spring Mountains... There was not a cloud to be seen and I've found that clouds are nice.... So I played around in post with this image and liked the almost b/w feel.. different. Day 53 of 365 02-22-2013
My wife bought the cool bunch of roses at the store today and I really liked how the textures looked in B&W.... I did do a bit of dodging and burning to add a bit of depth.... Day 52 of 365 02-21-2013
