Dawn of a new month... Yes, this is taken in the middle of the desert.. Years ago when water use wasn't an issue developers had grandios plans to build lakes and put houses on them... This is one of those lakes.. At X2,X3 you can see the tiniest sliver of a moon! To be honest I had not idea it was there until I was reviewing the photos.. So it's entirely possible it's not the moon, but it looks like the moon to me! Is it the moon?

Ran outside just as the evening sun lit up these palm trees!... It's cold here today, but sunny nothing like what's going on back east!...

Sometimes you come home and find funny scenes already set up!...

This set up actually reminded me of the way my day ended... Why do sales people continue to use worst case scenario scare tactics to sell goods and services? Kind of like selling frogs rearview mirrors just in case a T-Rex surprises them from behind... :)

Not entirely sure why I decided to whip up some Cinnamon Raisin Scones that are both Gluten Free and Vegan... But I'm glad I did.. these lil guys are amazingly good right out of the oven! Moist and tasty. My son asked that next time I make Chocolate Chip Scones instead! Those may be on the horizon... these are actually larger than what a cookie would be even though it doesn't really look like it in the photo.

Bubbles, wonderful bubbles! There's something about bubbles and children! I love watching them run through them, trying to pop each and everyone! This is a tiny bubble, but it caught her eye!

A little coloring with Crayons to end the day! When did life get so busy that a few minutes with crayons and a coloring book seems like a waste of time! This is one reason I love the Daily Photo project it allows a few short minutes with my version of Crayons, a camera! Hope everyone had a great Monday!

These are cupcakes from Crumbs Bakery in New York! No we don't live in New York, but they do a very nice job shipping them to the west coast frozen on dry ice! The little flags on top are there to prop up a plastic cover to keep the top from smashing them in transit..This box is placed inside a large styrofoam box and wrapped in frozen packs to keep them cold.
