Bubbles, wonderful bubbles! There's something about bubbles and children! I love watching them run through them, trying to pop each and everyone! This is a tiny bubble, but it caught her eye!

We celebrated Miss J's birthday today. This is her Birthday dress courtesy of her Grammy.. I caught her lounging by the window and was able to grab a few quick snaps before she was on to something else... She's a big 3 year old now.... 07-09-2011

I've been coming to this Lake in Southwestern Michigan since I was 4 years old and the view really hasn't changed much... a few trees are gone, but it's pretty much the same. It's fun coming back with my own kids sharing the same memories that I had as a child. This is sunset looking to the east after a day of storms...

After Disneyland we cruised down the coast to visit my sister in Carlsbad and spent the afternoon at the beach and left just before sunset... but was able to capture my nephew with his surf board in hand! It looks like he's headed out, but in fact he had just come in and was checking out these rocks... I liked the light at this hour.... This was actually the first day of good surf the whole week!

R got a helmet that he's really excited about.....

Back to the Pears hanging from our chandelier for the start of December... I did some minor edits in Aperture and then used a really cool filter in Perfect Photo Studio to bring out the glittery surface...
